An egg holder made personal

For your own kitchen or a personal gift: design an egg crate with a name in place of an ordinary egg holder. Choose its capacity, lettering and handle shape. Raised borders around the handles can be switched on or off together on the inside and outside.

Which egg crate size suits you?

Choose from a little two-egg crate to the compact twelve-egg version. Select the capacity in the configurator; the twelve-egg crate uses three rows of four seats.

Dimensions include raised handle rims. Check your usable print area in your slicer: the ten-egg crate needs about 256 mm in one direction, before any additional brim.

Six handle shapes and your own name

Choose a heart, circle, oval, rounded square, three finger holes or an egg shape. The selected opening repeats on all four sides. Your name is raised on all four sides. Choose separate colours for the crate, lettering and active handle rims; leave the name empty for a plain crate.

An open floor and rounded corners

An open lattice with low, rounded braces replaces a full floor sheet. The perimeter floor strip is 5 mm wide, and the floor and braces are 4 mm high. R10 corners and individual egg seats complete the crate.

Questions about the 3D-printed egg crate

How many eggs does the crate hold?

The configurator offers six sizes for 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 eggs, each with individual egg seats.

Can I add a name to the egg crate?

Yes. Up to 20 characters appear on all four sides. Choose a font or leave the name empty for a plain crate.

Are the handle rims raised inside and outside?

Yes. Optional rounded rims follow the selected opening and project about 1 mm from each face of the wall. The opening keeps its original size.

Do I receive a printed crate or a digital file?

You design a digital template and receive a 3MF file after unlocking it. A printed crate, filament and shipping are not included.

Will the egg crate fit my 3D printer?

Compare its outer dimensions with your usable print area. With handle rims, the ten-egg crate is about 256 mm long; a brim needs additional space.

Is the design ready for production?

Check the first print with your eggs and printer settings. Dimensions were estimated from reference photos; egg fit, grip and loaded strength have not yet been confirmed by a physical print.
